I don’t have any idea what’s within the University of Lambung Mangkurat, to be honest, I didn’t search any information about it even to Banjarmasin. In my less than a month of staying in ULM, there’s a lot of memories and experiences that were being build and treasured.

 ULM is a one of the greatest university that I’ve encountered. The officials and staffs are so kind, loveable, understandable and approachable. The facilities are good especially the house that we’ve been stayed. Actually, ULM is open to everyone even to the people of Banjarmasin.

I was truly amazed when I saw the public park inside the University. I learned to love this university as time passed by.
Now, let’s have a brief information and trivia of my beloved host University. Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) (Indonesian: Universitas Lambung Mangkurat) is the oldest and biggest university in Kalimantan, and one of the precious universities which becomes a society’s pride university in South Kalimantan. ULM was located in North Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This public university was being established last September 1, 1958 and named after Lambung Mangkurat, the first Negara Dipa’spatih (prime minister). The current Rector of ULM is Prof. Dr. H. Sutarto Hadi, M.Si.,M.Sc..ULM has two campuses. The main campus is located in Banjarmasin, and the extension of the main campus is in Banjarbaru. The campus in Banjarmasin is only 10 minutes from the downtown, and around 45 minutes from Syamsuddin Noor Airport. While the campus located in Banjarbaru, is only 15 minutes from Syamsudin Noor Airport. ULM has the vision to be a leading and competitive university in wetland environment.
Currently, LambungMangkurat University has:
– 11 Faculties
– 64 Undergraduate Programs (61 Bachelor’s Degree (S1) and 3 – three- year-diploma (D3)
– 24 Post-Graduate Programs (23 Master’s and 1 Doctoral Program)
– 5 Profession Program and 3 Specialist Program
– 992 Lecturers
– 33694 Students – 4 International Students
There are eleven faculties:
-Faculty of Teacher Training and Education -Faculty of Engineering
-Faculty of Social and Social and Political -Faculty of Forestry
-Science -Faculty of Agriculture
-Faculty of Law -Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sci-ences
-Faculty of Economic and Business
-Medical Faculty -Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences
-The Faculty of Dentistry

Weeks of Teaching Yes, it’s me again… So this is the continuation of my practice teaching in SDN-SN Pasar Lama 1. I just want to tell you the summary of my practice teaching up to the evaluation day. Banjarmasin *Map @ the Museum* When we reach Banjarmasin and we are still in the plane. I saw the top view of Banjarmasin, then I was wondering why this place is similar to our place in Philippines and it seems like there’s a lot of water forms. And I was right about what I thought because Banjarmasin is known to be “A City of a Thousand Rivers or River City”.  Bandjermasin or  Bandjarmasin, Chinese: pinyin  is the capital of South Kalimantan, Indonesia.  It is the biggest and the densest city in Kalimantan. This city is one of the biggest cities in Indonesia and outside of Java Island. The wid th of this city is around 72 km 2  which the area is divided into delta or islands that are consisted of 25 island—Tatas Island, Kelayan, Rantauan Keliling Island, Insane Island, atc. Practice Teaching So guysss???? this is it!!!! This is the time that I really felt very nervous, weak and very tensioned. * Day of teaching Gymnastic.*  I had my first actual teaching last 30th of January, 2019 and that was Wednesday Morning. I was so nervous when I’m about to speak because there’s a big burden in me the big possibility that my students will not really understand me because I’m speaking English not Bahasa but I tried to learn a little Bahasa like duduk (sit down) and Bagus (Very good). *Discussing my Tematik Subject*  Before we talk about what happen in my teaching, I want to share what I did in my lesson plan.
